The 1280 CIP is a new product from Videojet
The Videojet 1280 is the most recent model from CJJ. According to the manufacturer, the new machine employs Videojet printhead and fluid system technologies for variable volume and short production run applications.
The 1280 is equipped with Videojet's Dynamic Calibration Videojet inkjet printer, which helps to reduce unplanned printer downtime. The printer continuously monitors and analyses the surroundings in order to maintain excellent print quality while maximising operational uptime.
The 8-inch touchscreen display on the 1280, which was influenced by tablets, is intended to simplify operator printer interactions, hence reducing the likelihood of user errors. Manufacturers can manage their CIJ efforts, according to reports, even if they are not CIJ experts themselves.
Producers can concentrate on running the manufacturing line
while knowing that quality codes will be stamped on items with minimal user
intervention thanks to the Videojet 1280 printer.
According to the manufacturer, annual preventative maintenance
for the 1280 printer will take no more than five minutes, or until the printer
has logged 3,000 hours of use. It further claims that ongoing maintenance does
not involve CIJ knowledge because the 1280 may assist in reducing unscheduled
downtime through predictable preventative maintenance, which is not required by
the enterprise.
According to Mithun Ramachandran, Videojet Technologies' CIJ
business unit manager, the Videojet 1280 is based on the company's proven and
unique continuous inkjet technology, which has been around for a long time.
In order to reduce the number of operator printer contacts,
the industradgroup interface was developed to assist limit the likelihood of user
errors. In addition to its unrivalled durability and ease of use, the Videojet Cell service module is a single, reliable, and readily replaced component.
